Master Sgt. Brandan Keel, 413th Force Support Flight chief of force management, stands before a wall of race medals, certificates and memorabilia Oct. 28, 2018, at his home in Warner Robins, Ga. In 2013, Keel suffered from a case of depression after learning his wife cheated on him. To counter his thoughts of pain and suicide, he joined local running groups and fell in love with the activity.
